Maritime Gift Galley Website

Company Description:

Located on the ground floor of the Harbour Town Lighthouse, the Maritime Gift Galley features a unique stock of treasures, including historic books and authentic artifacts.

The Lighthouse, located at the Harbour Town Yacht Basin in the Sea Pines Resort, is open seven days a week year-round from 10 a.m. to sundown. Modest admission, and children 5 and under are free.

The Harbour Town Lighthouse was built in 1970 and is now the iconic image of Hilton Head Island. As you climb the 114 steps to the top of the lighthouse, see genuine artifacts and photographs documents the Island’s history and development. Listen closely to hear fun facts about the area’s wildlife. Pick up a souvenir at the Shoppe At The Top. Walk our wrap-around balcony for breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets, and don’t forget to wave to friends and family on our live webcam.

Last year the Lighthouse became an official Coast Guard Museum and features a 16-foot hand-built scale model of the cutter “Eagle,” a historic 295-foot seagoing classroom for Coast Guard cadets.
