What better place to take in a serene sunset than in a boat on the water.
Better yet, add adult beverages and you have the perfect ending to a perfect day. It can be fun and rowdy, quiet and serene, elegant and dignified, for a few or for many. Whichever atmosphere you choose, you’ll have drinks and dolphins by sunset.
With the exception of the large dinner cruises offered by Savannah Riverboat Cruises and the Spirit of Harbour Town, Sky Pirate Parasailing is the only sunset cocktail cruise that provides the libations. They offer a two-hour cruise with free beer and wine, or soft drinks for those under 21 years old. You are welcome to bring additional food or drinks.
Their cruises are for six passengers maximum and tour Broad Creek (map) and Calabogue Sound (map). They always have “cool tunes jamming.” The cruises are offered year around and are U.S. Coast Guard certified.
Bluewater Adventure in Shelter Cove Marina is offering a new, fun and very unique sunset cocktail cruise (adult-only) on a 20-passenger cycle boat. Pedal while you drink (but don’t worry, there’s a motor for back up). You provide your own beverages and snacks, but they provide the ice and cooler.
Daufuskie Difference operates a Sunset Supper Club at Daufuskie’s Freeport Marina’s Old Daufuskie Crab Company. The cruises are all-inclusive, including round-trip ferry service from Broad Creek Marina, golf cart rentals, narrated dolphin watch and history tours, dinner, and a complimentary Scrap Iron Cocktail.
